WAPMU Training Partnership

WAPMU (World Academy of Pain Medicine United) is a unique, non-profit organization which conducts its primary educational mission by creating in-person and virtual CME accredited courses in the field of Acute and Chronic Pain Management across many medical disciplines. We are proud to provide both practical (live model and cadaveric based) and evidence-based courses which focus on procedural anatomy and injection techniques related to the entire gamut of pain conditions. To further our cause, we utilize novel imaging modalities (including fluoroscopy and ultrasound) to educate and implement emerging technologies in interventional pain medicine. Our esteemed faculty (many of whom are recognized leaders in this field) prioritize training and education through evidence and experience-based guidelines. Our vision is to optimize image guidance and its role with emerging technologies, to develop avant-garde educational curricula, and disseminate novel therapeutics in the growing field of Pain Medicine. We champion innovation and seek to implement strategies to further the interventional techniques in this multidisciplinary specialty.
